The work itself was equally varied and Scott tried to assign appropriate tasks to each helper. We were always six workawayers at a time, which made the stay varied and fun. The 3 weeks I've spent at Scotts place have been marvelous! Scotts property is beautiful and the whole village absolutely idyillic. They will be my first rest stop on any trip to Australia in the future. I felt like part of the family and will never forget my time here. I was honoured to be introduced to his dad, Graham, in north Brisbane, who I stayed with for two nights and got a great tour of the local nature. He is full of amazing ideas, is extremely welcoming and laid back, and a very understanding and non-judgmental person. I had a particularly special time just because Scott is such a lovely and interesting guy. The area is hard to travel from if you have no car - thankfully Scott loves taking workaways on amazing hikes up the glass house mountains, to local music nights and to the beach!
